saturday in the library

well i'm spending a good portion of my saturday afternoon in the library catching up on weeks of internet access. it's not a bad place to be in the summer to sit here in the AC, listen to country music, and pay bills, update itunes/iphone, download mp3s from amazon (tim mcgraw daily deal today for $2.99), and of course blog with pictures.

after work yesterday i went to the much anticipated/hated Ikea which just opened about a mile south of me in brooklyn. i had some pictures of the view (it's right on the water with it's own loading docks) and of people standing in line for swedish meatballs, but they came out blurry, so you get this one. i didn't buy anything yet, but i probably will buy something in a nice flat box.

and in another great achievement from yesterday, this also came out blurry but that says level 33/34. that's by far a personal best for those familiar with that screen. as you can tell, yesterday was very busy.
this evening, i'm leaning on going to a lights out/summer solstice party (basically you minimize use of lights/electricity on the longest day of the year). we'll see. tomorrow i was voluntold to be in central park at 6 am to help out at the hope and possibilities run, i'm not complaining about helping out, but 6 am and during church is not ideal.

haha.
love to see that the more things change, the more RJ stays the same.

all kidding aside, it looks like your NYC transition is going relatively smooth. stop being so cheap and spring for the $30 internet at home silly man.
