rain rain go away

it's rained pretty much every day for a number of days. this is quite annoying, made worse when you spend all day in a car watching the rain fall on your windshield. tack on the disaster that is NYC road conditions, and it's not very fun. hopefully it'll clear up by this weekend when toro comes to visit. hopefully i'm not working too much.

i saw this on fatwallet, it's an instant netflix player. it's a good idea (yes, you could do the same with your computer and not pay $100, but the point is you don't need a computer). yeah, it'll get replaced by on demand cable, but that's essentially what it is for a lot less than the price of cable tv. i'm going to have to look into it after i move, especially if they have lots of tv on dvd things.
