no, that's not peeping tom in the corner

so this evening, i was sitting outside for a while by myself in the corner of one of nyc's fine parks with a pair of binoculars in hand. two of nypd officers in the park thought that was pretty suspicious, especially since there had been a recent sexual assault in the park. glad to see that they do check out those things seriously.

also this evening i saw the following. not sure who buys meat from a store like that, but at least it wasn't a $1 store.
and how's that for a NY fancy schmancy cafe meal. it was more presentation than substance, but it was pretty decent.
