ah nyc

who can afford to live there. this week i have the last major hurdle that will prevent me from moving to nyc on april 2. on leap day, i will have to demonstrate that i can shoot straight, an important skill to have. i'm a pretty decent shot, but it's still kind of stressful to think about. i also now need to seriously find somewhere to live in nyc and find someone to take over my apt here in arlington. i'm pretty much relying on the craigslist to do both, it should work fine for my apt here, but it's not looking too promising for nyc. why in the world i volunteered to go to ny i still don't fully understand. it's way more expensive, and it's colder. although, not chicago cold, i've become super spoiled by our 40-50 degree days all winter for the most part.
