better late than never
ok, so this past week my cellphone went haywire, and thus i had to get a replacement one under warranty. unfortunately, i didn't take many pictures during that time. in fact, i ended up going on a church retreat from friday-sunday on the chesapeake bay and i took very few pictures. but, to not disappoint the fan(s) of the picture blog, here are the few i did take:
This is the park that i spent friday afternoon in, we had a picnic, a hike, etc.. despite forecasts for rain all weekend, we got mostly partly sunny skies.
This photo came out blurry, but it's the inside of a Walmart in a tiny town in north east maryland. it's the only big shop in town pretty much, and it's gigantic. when i walked in it looked more costco than walmart, this picture doesn't quite capture it.
Our group activity on saturday morning was to drop an egg from 10 feet high or something and make some sort of contraption with some provided materials to prevent the egg from breaking. this was ours, we made a little parachute. it actually did work.
This is one of the kids who was climbing the indoor rock wall. he made it to that point about 5 times while i was watching but never dared go any higher. i should've taken some pics of me conquering the outdoor wall, but alas, didn't have the cameraphone on me most of the time.
i do have a video of the zip line, i'll post it if i get a chance. i got a tetanus and whooping cough vaccination today. i could post a picture of my sore arm, but that would just be showing off those gigantic guns...

In addition to being a blog, i've decided to turn this into a personal webpage. I've realized that
this template they give me makes it super easy to create personal webpages and what not and I will take full advantage.
