various things

throughout the week, i constantly think of things i should blog about but then i forget to do it, and then i don't feel like blogging about it anymore by the time i do get to typing something. that make sense? i think it's common among bloggers.

anyways, today i got a fancy pair of cole haan shoes at DSW which is running a heck of a sale.

this evening, gerald ford's motorcade went directly by my house in alexandria. i took some cell phone video of it and put it on youtube. i wonder how many hits it will end up with, it's not sadaam's hanging but if airplanes can end up with 100 views, so can this. regarding that, i still don't believe in capital punishment but if someone deserved it, it would be sadaam.

right now, i'm grateful i live in DC because we get the giants game on local broadcast rather than having to find someone with direct tv who gets NFL network. of course, i'm not sure i really want to see the pathetic giants play football, but here's hoping a miracle happens.

edit: after watching 10 minutes of the skins game, let me let you know what happened. wash got the ball, marched straight down the field, then fumble on the 20, giants run it all the way back to the other 20. giants go three and out, field goal. Wash gets ball again, march to two first downs, then Randle El (the WR) throws a 50 yard option pass that hangs up there forever into double coverage, the giants safety goes for the interception rather than knocking the ball down and totally misses it. TD washington. geez.
