go vote!

no matter who or what you're voting for, go out and do it tomorrow.
we in VA have two major things on the ballot, the US senate race, and a gay marriage ammendment to the state constitution.

a few weeks ago, i posted about the VA senate race and i still think i'm not going to vote for either Mr Allen nor Mr Webb.

as for the ammendment, while i am completely opposed to same-sex marriage, i also don't believe it's any business of the government to legislate it. the legislation is too broad and may take away important rights from unmarried folks in relationships. for example, here is a short letter on potential effects on domestic violence laws. so i'm voting no, but i have a feeling it's going to pass. nothing like the tyranny of the majority.
