must be feeling good

maybe it's the new apartment, or the cash award i received, but for whatever reason i decided to splurge like crazy on a new cell phone and a new cell phone plan. that's right, i went out and got me the Cingular 2125 (Cnet Review). In addition to the pretty phone i also had to get the mandatory unlimited data plan because the phone is a "smartphone." So just like that i tacked another $20/month to my cell phone service plan. Having not paid a single bill yet i say it's definitely worth it, i'll probably change my mind when the $60+tax bill hits me though. i must say it's tons of fun to check e-mail/sports/news/weather/stocks/etc on your phone and i admit that i do it even though it's way slower than broadband. it's actually somewhat useful for me since i don't have internet at my desk so now i can just glance at it while at my desk. that's my justification for now, that and google maps for mobile. i'm also way grateful for T9 because without it sending e-mails would be impossible, now it's somewhat tolerable at long as it's not too long.

oh yeah, and today i also purchased a 1gb mini-sd card for mp3's and other apps for the phone. that's not nearly as interesting as the fact i sprung for the 2-day shipping for $10. yeah, feeling good.

the camera is way better too as you can see from the way my pod got decorated for my birthday celebration (yes, a bit early, but i'm on vacation end of this week). it's not too good though, which is good because that's classified material on the walls.
