return of gas lines

ok, i'm being overly dramatic obviously but this evening it did take me 15 minutes to get in and out of a gas station. it was mainly my fault for not filling up on the way in and having the needle on empty. There was one other gas station on my way but that was 10 cents more expensive per gallon and i needed about 13 gallons. Anyways, the problem was that this sunoco station was having a grand reopening special where if you bought ten gallons you got a free 2L of soda. So of course, people fill up their cars, then leave them there while they bring the receipt inside to get their free 2L of pepsi. then of course, there's a line inside, so you get the picture, lines of people waiting for gas because people want their free 99 cents of warm pepsi (the bottles were outside on a pallet in the 85 degree heat). It was annoying, and no, i did not get my free pepsi, i hit no when the receipt question came up so the person in line behind me could get his gas. this was at the end of rush hour too, can't imagine what it was like during.

i did get my carrie underwood cd upon returning home, that was excellent.
