purple people eater

all right, so i got the official results from my race. It wasn't like my glory days, but look at where i stand. 13th out of 653 (top 2%). Heck that's much more impressive than the 16th out of 160 (top 10%) from the glory days. True, competition wasn't too tough with the 237 participants under age 20 and their parents making up the other chunk probably.

today, after finagaling a free panera lunch from church (and taking 3/4 of a loaf of bread home for dinner), i went and watched the last set of the Vertical Horizon concert. i was kind of disappointed i didn't get free food there as well, but it reminded me of a small scale taste of chicago as all the restaurants were offering "taste" portions for $1. bigger portions, cheaper prices than the Tase of Chicago, which i've always believed to be a huge rip-off. concert was good, i caught basically all (three) of their top-40 radio hits by arriving in the latter half.

and this is for megan, we wear short shorts,

Excellent. Although, why is he so white? His job is playing out in the sun all day, and yet, he remains freakishly un-tanned.

(If you kind of squint and look at this picture form a distance he just looks like a crazy naked guy on a tennis court.)

He's a little too excited about his win.
