starting conflict
well, i've started more conflict between the DEA and the FBI. tomorrow morning my GS15 unit chief is going to duke is out against the DEA 15 section chief. a gs15 in the govt is a pretty high level person, for reference the dea 15 has 60 some people under his supervision for example. the whole fight between these important, busy people is going to be about how much time i physically spend in one room. i kid you not. not about the outstanding level of my work, which is agreed on across the board, but about how much time i sit in a room. unbelievable. i'm pretty sure i'm right here though and the evidence and numbers will speak for itself.
on a lighter note, happy bday jed. to celebrate i'm tempted to buy this for myself, but i'm a tightwad and poor.

fyi, i did post this bday wish before reading any of the other blogs and didn't forget it. of course, i had friendster constantly reminding me, so that helped. everyone, go sign up for friendster/facebook and you too can see what i would buy myself for your bday
