snap back to reality

For the five of you who were looking for updates, i apologize. my Internet connection broke last thursday and then i went on my church's men's retreat to Northbay somewhere far away and lived a life free from tv, computers, baseball...

What i learned:
- i can't sleep through loud snoring. Not even after playing basketball till past midnight and being exhausted. i think i got 3 hours sleep on night one. fortunately we got to switch cabins the next night
- i'm as afraid of heights as ever. i demonstrated that on the ropes course 50 feet in the air and the rock climbing wall
- i've failed the asian race in ping-pong as i was routinely schooled by lots of different white folk

What I learned upon my return:
- Billy Wagner sucks
- Scott Kazmir (cry)
- i'm darn tired and nothing has changed with my two biggest baseball nightmares

On another note, i feel like i should be sending out some happy birthday greetings and cheer. so if it's your bday today, happy bday! i'm positive there's at least one of you readers, without a friendster profile to remind me, who is celebrating today or tomorrow.
