deceiving stats

my blood is boiling so much that i've decided to post on a wednesday night despite just getting home at 10 PM and being relatively busy that i only checked my e-mail once all day and that was to realize i had lost another significant chunk of money in a stock market right off its 6-year high. i'm living proof we are not in a stock bubble (everything goes up in a bubble).

if that weren't bad enough, i listen to the radio on my way back at 9:45 PM to hear that Billy Wagner blew another save. outcome of game undetermined as of writing. For a guy with a record of 2-0 and an ERA of .64 entering tonight's debacle, you'd think he's awesome and worth all $10 million he makes. but counting tonight, this is his 3rd blown save of the season already. that dufus in boston making the minimum hasn't blown one yet. Wagner's just lucky the mets offense bails him out all the time, we'll see about tonight, but i'm livid. i should probably be less into baseball, the stress can't be good for me. i'm already losing enough hair as is.
