In addition to being a blog, i've decided to turn this into a personal webpage. I've realized that

only happy when it rains
not really actually. it's supposed to pour all day again, considering how nice the weekdays were, i guess this is the price. i'm waiting for the thunderstorm and heavy downpour to subside and then i'm going for a short run. i read online just moments ago that you can basically run through any amount of rain for under an hour so long as it's not cold (hypothermia) or lightning (electrocution). we'll see how it goes.
For those looking for a mother's day alternative, this is probably what i'll do. it's one of the places i volunteer with.

he card also lets the recipient know that “A contribution in their name has been made to Doorways, formerly TACTS (The Arlington Community Temporary Shelter). This gift will help homeless women, families and victims of domestic violence move toward a brighter future.”
Orders must be received at Doorways’ office no later than April 28th in order for cards to be received in time for Mother’s Day.
