the good. bad, and ugly

despite getting up at 6.15am and getting home at 10.30pm and not reading my e-mail or anyone's blog really since saturday, how could i pass up on writing a post with the way the Metropolitans are playing.

Good

- If Billy Wagner hadn't blown a friggin save the Mets would be undefeated
- to make life better, the mets are doing all the winning against the Nats
- David Wright
- I saw a celebrity, Steve Carell. filming something in DC. he's the dude from the office. there was a small gathering mostly of teenage girls watching, and i couldn't help but hang around and try to figure out who they were waving at.
- sister and parents were in town over the weekend, they saw steve carell too.
- inherited my sister's old laptop which had a failed hard drive but my dad bought a new one and replaced it

Bad

- softball batting avg went from cooperstown (1.000) to mendoza (.200) after the last game. i got some tips to keep my left elbow up to level off the swing so i stop hitting lazy fly balls.
- any stock i buy. take a look at OSIP, SGR over the past 5 days. while you're at it check out XMSR over 3 months, LF too. The only stock i own that's NOT down 10+ % is MOT. do you believe that? if the mets weren't winning i'd be quite upset.

- the aforementioned laptop's new hard drive failed shortly after i inherited it. seems to be a larger problem.

Ugly

- Scott Kazmir wins Cy Young within two years when he finds his consistency
- Me playing defense in softball, not much better than my shameful 0-4 on offense
- not enough sleep

all right, i'm off to bed. i'm excited for all the blogs to read and comment on tomorrow. i hope i'm not disappointed when i discover that no one else has posted anything either.
