saving the world by yourself is hard work

geez, everyone is out of the office these days, mostly home sick and quite a few taking their AWS monday/friday off (thanks to the Alternate Work Schedule - work 9 hour days, get one day off every other week). Thanks to that combination, i've basically been the only one holding down the fort the last two days and they've been busy days causing me to work harder than i should. on friday i barely got into the gym, and today i made the gym but definitely did not have time for a run to target. the one benefit is that i've basically listened to my entire collection of cd's since i'm all by myself lately and can turn up the volume relatively high. Much less time to waste bumming around (no one to talk to anyways), although i did manage to make a "hand" turkey on friday that flies (similar to that contraption i set up in the dorms for halloween if anyone remembers - this was also set up for halloween, but now the flying ghost has been replaced with the flying turkey). i should take a picture of the turkey, it's a quality effort.

and that Terrell Owens, he's an idiot. at least this pretty much guarantees the giants a spot in the NFC title game
