my kind of football week

First, last sunday, everyone in this town was like the redskins are awesome, their #2 rated QB in the NFL is going to light up the Giants #31 out of 32 rated defense, blah blah blah. Final score of that game: 36-0 giants.

Then today, everyone in this town was like oh the VA Tech hokie are awesome, their #2 rated QB in the entire NCAA and #2 defense is going to kill Miami and it's #44 rated QB and #1 rated defense, especially being a home game in VA where the fans will really let miami have it. Well, as i type, the score of that game: 26-0 hurricanes. That aforementioned awesome qb, brother of Michael Vick i think has like 15 passing yards, couple fumbles including one that led to a TD in the endzone, and a pick. barring miracle collapse by miami his passer rating is going to take quite a fall from #2. oh yeah, and the entire miami offense was injured in this game and they still are stomping. USC/Texas should be darn thankful there is no playoff in college football. Miami lost game #1 of the year to FSU to end their season, but that defense is ridiculously good. Too bad Notre Dame fell a couple seconds short of stopping USC earlier, otherwise Miami would be getting a title shot when alabama finally loses.
