after eating turkey, you can then proceed to see if rebecca gets eliminated from the apprentice with two all new episodes. apparently NBC is eager to not drag this out with all these mass firings and airing back to back episodes. I have a feeling that Beck might not make it through the evening, i'm not sure she's top 3 material. I like Randall and Alla in the final three, beck, the other girl, and the young guy fighting for one spot. Perhaps trump fires the two youngest tonight (beck and the guy). If he keeps one youthful person around it will probably be beck though. Much more exciting than if Beck gets fired finally, is that my favorite Canadian is making an appearance on the apprentice tonight according to the teasers. One night after the faith hill special too. What an exciting time for my two favorite country music singers.

What should i wake up early and buy tomorrow? I saw some pretty tempting things in the circulars. Some cheap CD's (no, i'm not buying the garth brooks box set), some intriguing electronics devices, we'll see.

yeah, on BF, my dad and i got up at 5:15 AM to get 2 19" Samsung flat panel monitors and 2 512mb USB memory "pens" from Staples ($199 and $9.99 / ea, respectively). lessons learned from my first ever black friday sale:
1. check town ordinances. according to the staples flyer, the stores were supposed to open at 6AM (hence the 5:15 wake up time), but due to unbenknownst Paramus, NJ law, the store couldn't open until 7AM so we waited the extra hour.
2. staples seems to overstock inventory in anticipation of demand. despite the long line, staples had massive amounts of inventory. so much so that we could have just arrived during regular store hours and still gotten what we wanted.
3. there is a lot of BS thrown around by people in line just to get others to leave (e.g., "i heard the staples at the other side of town is open"; "not all of us can wait out here because its a fire hazard")
meanwhile best buy opened at 5 this year... pretty soon it will be at the stroke of midnight.
