In addition to being a blog, i've decided to turn this into a personal webpage. I've realized that

almost voted for a republican today
in my first ever virginia election, i went in set on voting for some guy named Lawhorne for sherriff because he had a sherriff name. ok, that's not true, i actually did some research, and everyone thinks he great, endorsed by the alexandria police, etc.. i was set to vote for him not knowing what party he was with but it turns out he was a democrat. Alas, that means today i voted Warner for Gov, that women for lt Gov, abstained from attorney general, Englin for delegate, and Lawhorne for sherriff. let's see if the rest of va/alexandria voted with me. Democrats across the board, although i almost did go over to the other side with the sherriff. Alas, it looks like living in a red state (although NoVa is overwhelmingly democratic) and going to a conservative church hasn't effected me that much yet.

as of 10est, looks like kaine and lawhorne are victorious, others haven't been called. so far, everyone agrees with me.
Well it seems you have made a difference by voting. I am more amazed thought about the mayor of detroit.

i just noticed that i wrote i voted warner for gov. he's already the gov. i voted for Tim Kaine obviously. in the end everyone i voted for won except lt gov. attorney general where i abstained is too close to call.
