crazy people

why must people blow themselves up?
did anyone see the story on saturday about some college kid who blew himself up outside of a football game. well in the redacted portion of the story there's all sorts of issues, so guess where i am. yes, i blog from work again on an early sunday evening. alas, at least i can watch football and workout.

i also did setup the google personalization which is out to compete with my.yahoo.com which i adore. i must say i like how simple and intuitive the setup process is, and the info is more or less the same. the only thing missing are the yahoo stock quotes (far superior to googles) but the google weather is better and they have gmail link which is handy since i use it and not yahoo mail. they also don't have ads which i guess is a plus, though you start to tune them out on yahoo anyways. my biggest complaint is that now the google website takes noticebly longer to load. you get used to the simple page that loads in one second.
