if todays score holds up (currently 1-0 in the 7th), which is never a certainty with Braden (i suck) Looper, i think i'm going to rename my blog site to davidwrightismyhero.blogspot.com, just in case you come looking one day here and it's gone. The mets look good to me, especially if Steve trachsel decides to have his good half. anyone who follows trachs knows that he always pitches exceptionally for about half a season and craptastically the other half (usually if it counts he's bad, if the team is out of it he's awesome). i've been saying since the beginning they were going to get it done, and now finally, the ESPN folk have jumped on the bandwagon. it's all going to come down to Braden Looper. speaking of the race, i just got back from my first ever game at RFK stadium. The Gnats won unfortunately, so the METS need to win tonight to stay out of the cellar. also what genius schedules a football game and baseball game around the same time, along the same train line. it was incredibly packed going to the stadium, even after i waited for the train "immediately behind this one" as the announcement always says.
