well, CNN has broken a story saying that the next supreme court justice nominee will be a John Roberts. Staunch conservative. looks like we'll have a WWF battle royale on our hand in the upcoming weeks, just what the president needed to turn away the attention from Karl Rove. That Rove guy is a genius, since he obviously orchestrated this as well. I look forward to seeing what happens in these confirmation hearings.
as for some usual topics i haven't talked about in a while:
Mets - still very much in the chase. nationals suck, bullpen outperformed the whole year and it's finally catching up with them. mets don't need a wildcard, they need a division title and finally get rid of those pesky braves.
Working Out - doesn't happen much when it's Code Red weather alert every day here with the humidity.
Stocks - not looking good starting tomorrow. That yahoo miss ain't helping and is trending all tech stocks down down down. MOT beat the highest estimates in earnings, revs, shipments, and still goes down.
Work - late shift comes to an end this week. wasn't bad, and i got to do VBS last week and opened a new bank account today and have a dentist appointment on thurs. The dentist "caters to cowards" and uses that Biolase technology with no needles.

just watched the announcement, and this guy can't be nearly as conservative as the liberal ny times was making him out to be. He had bipartisan support and unanimous confirmation for his current job. so, looks like the fireworks won't be as large as i thought.
how was the dentist?
cancelled the appointment of course.
not solely because i'm a coward who finally made an appt after 3 years. work hours got adjusted (11a-7p) which made a 2.30 appointment 35 minutes away kind of impractical. will reschedule. really, i will.
