hungry

i'm hungry despite eating some pb&j sandwiches, some carrots, a lean pockets ultra, and ice cream already for dinner not to mention a few servings of pretzels. why the haphazard meal you wonder, because i'm going to chicago this weekend and there's no point to be cooking anything for only 2 meals, so that basically means we'll do it again tomorrow.

speaking of tomorrow, i'm taking the car in to an insurance sponsored body shop. we'll see the prognosis, but i'm trying to minimize the insurance companies payout to avoid massive jacks in my finally reasonable premiums (moving out of chicago, getting older).

i think i have the trip to chicago planned out in my head, but i should probably hash out the details. i'll probably end up playing it by ear.

all right, i'm off to eat something and my apologies for you all missing the mets news. i haven't had the chance to really follow anything other than the daily scoreboard and the results of the braves/marlins. i do see we're still right in it, but nothing further to say. My sports watching has been focused on the Heat/Pistons series which is quite entertaining considering i didn't watch any NBA all year. And kudos to Derek Lee who's definitely on some sort of performance enhancing drug.
