and the thunder rolls

lightning is starting right now. hmm, i have a run scheduled for exactly 1 hour from now, we'll see how quickly this storm passes and if it kills the humidity. the sun going down should kill the 91 degree temps. In good news, i don't need a laptop, i popped open the computer, flipped some power cords around and my CD drive works again thus allowing me to rip such classics as the Crows (Sheryl and Counting) along with Garth (note the thinly veiled reference in the subject line). That Jed is a funny guy, or perhaps he's just certifiable. Sarah will be happy to know i put a response in the mail today. Now she'll have to wait in anticipation to see if it's positive or negative. i need to find a way to keep in shape without doing any cardio, suggestions anyone?

the mets are horrible. at least some of my stocks are looking up netting me gains in the 10s of dollars (yeah, i need more capital). i basically convinced myself to buy an SUV last night, however, they will need to be significantly more fuel efficient and cheaper so it's a while off before you can all hate me as some environment killing scum and want to torch me like proud UC alum William Cottrell.

rather than editing my post i keep writing comments, it makes me look popular. anyways, apparently my CD rom drives have fritzed out again. back to needing a new laptop. maybe i should get a desktop, they're practically free.

jimmy,

I am glad you have finally dropped your response in the mail. i will now wait with baited breath until it arrives.

on another note I met Art Laffer today... what an odd ball man he is.

one, i do not know who Art Laffer is.

Google (and the great wikipedia) tells me that he is the Laffer curve guy, i used to know what that is i'm sure. More interestingly, he's the namesake for Larry Laffer of Leisure Suit Larry fame, i know who that is. He's also affiliated with Kudlow somehow who is the idiot on that show with Cramer on CNBC. Kramer is much more annoying though.

wow, that's quite the profile. did you really pull that up through google or did you use some kinda FBI database?

Laffer talked for a long time about nothing in particular. he does a decent impression of the govinator, and thinks that bush has done some wonderous things for our economy. His pitch right now is that the sap5 is way undervalued and that people will soon be flocking to the markets presently.
