thank God
those of you who follow know i've been quite tired recently, well it all caught up with me today in a big way. on the way home from work i guess i was more sleepy than normal and i must've dozed off a bit going 50 mph on a highway during rush hour. Car in front of me slowed down, by the time i realized it (falling in and out of sleep) all i could do was slam the brakes and swerve to miss the car (which i barely did). Fortunately the lane to the left was empty and no one was following too close in my lane or that other one. Short story, the antilock brakes kicked in, front wheels locked, and the back of the car bounced from lane to lane about 4 times. The fourth time (after losing most of the momentum) the tail of the car slammed into the highway divider anhilating the driver's side tail light and causing a big dent and jarring the bumper loose. I'm very thankful though that no one else got hit, and i just stopped for a minute to assess the damage and was able to drive away with relatively minor damage (as opposed to hitting the divider head first), no police or anything needed, no whiplash or other injuries since the speed had dropped significantly by the fourth bounce. For those of you who remember, the damage in the end is similar to when scott got clipped while he was parked on ellis. This is going to cost a pretty penny, but it could've been a lot lot worse. Moral of story: take naps at work.
In addition to being a blog, i've decided to turn this into a personal webpage. I've realized that
this template they give me makes it super easy to create personal webpages and what not and I will take full advantage.

Glad to hear you're all right. Jesus.
Jimmy! Please take care of yourself, boy--we're kind of attached to you. It's okay to skip running or volunteer work or church for a little rest every once in a while, you know. Now rest up--that's an order.
whoa. be careful out there RJ. thank god is right. that's probably as good an outcome you can get from that.
